We are beyond excited to finally show you some images from this shoot that got featured on the WedLuxe blog. It doesn’t get better that working with some of the best vendors in Edmonton to create some seriously beautiful images. Stef and I were inspired by the colour pallet chosen for the shoot and Stefanie decided to colour our fabulous model Kristina‘s hair a peachy pink and then I kept the same tones running through the makeup. I used the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette on Kristina’s eyes to get the perfect English rose eye look. Since Big Valley Jamboree is happening this weekend and the lovely Alee is playing the country festival we thought it only fitting to do a #throwbackthursday to the photo shoot for her CD cover with Nicole Ashley. These images are some of my favourites as it had a beautiful floral crown that I crafted and then went into a more sultry edgy look.I gotta tell you it is pretty cool seeing your name on the CD sleeve. Of course it wouldn’t be a shoot with Stef and I if there weren’t some shenanigans (last photo). In December I did the makeup for over 60 gorillas (aka black out their eyes so their skin matched the mask) for the SIIINES new music video for their single “God I hate Clubs”. Doing this was no small feat considering how much I dislike bananas and there were so many bananas being thrown about. Loved working with the guys though it was a pretty fun Sunday.
